ACCESSING STUDENT ACCOUNTS

 

Background

Through the NESA organization and ISG, DHS provides a virtual classroom for students. In
previous years, the school has used the Blackboard content management system. This year a move has been made to Moodle. ISG also provides student email accounts through which DHS will communicate with students.

 

Purpose
This handout is designed to illustrate how DHS students can access their Moodle courses and school email accounts.

 

Procedure


1. Open an internet browser and enter the URL: http://vs.isg.edu.sa

 

2. Username: Last name (first 5 letters only). first initial of the student’s first name . 4 and the last two digits of the student’s year of graduation. Note: if a student has a last name with 5 letters or fewer, he/she should use his/her whole last name. Please contact Dyah Yuniarti (dyuniarti@isgdh.org) or Maryanne Dersch, (mdersch@isgdh.org) if you are having trouble accessing your account.

 

Examples:    If a student is in

            • 9th grade: smith.j.415
            • 10th grade: johns.k.414
            • 11th grade: ford.g.413
            • 12th grade: linco.a.412
