ANNOUNCEMENT
Beginning the 18th of June 2011, the Dhahran Baccalaureate Centre will limit its consideration of applications for the 2011-2013 cohort. Students wishing to be considered for the IB Diploma after this date must:
- Follow application procedures for Dhahran High School and indicate interest in IB.
- Be unconditionally admitted to Dhahran High School
- Be prepared to follow the DBC selection process in late August 2011
*Candidates applying after 18 June 2011 may be limited in their course choices

IB Approval Granted to Diploma Programme beginning Sept. 2011
The International Baccalaureate Organization has granted the Dhahran Baccalaureate Centre approval to begin offering the Diploma Programme in Sept 2011. Community support and excitement for the IB Diploma Programme has been outstanding. Currently we have 28 students of the first cohort and a wide range of courses available to allow for a balanced programme that will prepare students for a wide-range of post-secondary university and career options. Applications will again be processed beginning in mid-May until courses are at capacity.
Dhahran Baccalaureate Centre (DBC) will be run under the auspices of Dhahran High School, this is a shared initiative between Dhahran British Grammar School, Dhahran High School and International Schools Group.
